I do think you can keep getting work in Hollywood as a Trump supporter as long as you're not a tremendous asshole. See: Dennis Quaid. (For now).
James Woods is such a great performer, but his ring-wing allegiance is probably a problem compounded by his relentless obnoxiousness. People like him and Gina Carano do themselves no favors by being the Person You Didn't Want To Come To The Party But They Came Anyway.
Plus there’s the not inconsiderable aspect that’s important to remember, which is: Zachary Levi is no James Woods, and he is no Dennis Quaid. At the very very *very* least, they both have past filmographies that include some all-time excellent movies, which no one can take from them. But Levi? The man who was brought into the “Thor” movies to replace another actor as a side character so forgettable that he got killed off in “Thor: Ragnarok”, and was also brought onto the “Chicken Run” sequel to replace Mel Gibson (who I guess might as well be chums with Levi now, given their shared Trump support)? Man oh man, Levi cooked his own career for nothing! Then again, compared to the likes of Gibson, Woods and Quaid, Zach’s body of work wasn’t much to write home about. 🤦♂️

But... he was "Chuck"! A beloved show I never watched, nor did I know anyone else had watched!
